Warm Winter Cocktails

February 8, 2015

You all know how much I LOVE fun cocktails of any kind! As winter continues to drag on, I found a few suggestions to warm you up on these cold days! You can always go to the old reliables of coffee and Bailey’s, hot cocoa and Rumchata, Irish coffee, but these look a little more different and fun! Just click on the drink name to get the recipe!

Cinnamon Chocolate Wine Latte

Ummmm…..seriously……I might make this tonight! Chocolate red wine, milk, whipped cream. How can you go wrong? I found this gem on thepinkflour.com.

Tipsy Nutella Cocoa

Again, how can you go wrong? Anything with nutella has to be good, and this looks delectable!!! I can’t wait to try out the Fluffed Marshmallow Vodka. Come to think of it, maybe I’ll make this one from  The Cookie Rookie tonight :) !

Bacon, Bourbon, and Hazelnut Hot Chocolate

For all of you bacon lovers out there! Serious Eats says this gem can be made in 10 minutes! Is it a snack or is it a drink?

Flaming S’mores Martini

How does fire not warm you up! I love a fun martini and this totally looks right up my alley (though I will need someone to set it on fire for me :) ). This recipe from doughmesstic also contains marshmallow vodka (how have I not discovered this gem yet).

Hot Buttered Rum

Always a winter classic. This recipe from Rachel Ray may take a bit to make, but it looks delicious!

Snowball Martini

OK, so this one isn’t a hot beverage, but how pretty and sparkly! I love the look of this one from Tasty Kitchen!

What are your favorite winter beverages? Please share….I’m always looking for new ideas!

I love mulled wine, hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps, and a nice Tom and Jerry (a hot, frothy rum and brandy drink) in the winter. The tipsy nutella cocoa sounds delicious, but I can’t imagine actually buying marshmallow vodka!
