Top Ten Tuesday – My Spring TBR
March 17, 2015
Top Ten Tuesday is a feature hosted by The Broke and The Bookish in which they select a topic every week, and the rest of us get to make Top Ten lists based on that topic. This week’s topic: Top Ten Books on My Spring TBR list. As I was getting ready to type this post, I decided to go back and look at my TTT post on my winter TBR list. I’m embarrassed to admit that I did not even read 1 book from that list. So, this time around, I decided to really think about what I have on my reading agenda. Here’s what I came up with (click on the link for the Goodreads summary):
Books I Will Listen to on Audio
Unwind by Neal Shusterman – I’m already half way through this audio so I’m pretty confident I can finish this one this spring
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling – I was half way through this one when I had to take it back to the library. I’m not too worried about getting to this one either!
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling – I said the Harry Potter series is a goal this year, and audio is really going to help me meet that goal!
Books That I Have Been Gifted
The Maze Runner by James Dashner – My OTSP Secret Sister Missie (who is totally awesome, supportive, and thoughtful) gave me this gift in February. I really want to read it, so I plan to get to it soon!
The Giver by Lois Lowry – My TBTB Secret Santa Erica gave me this way back in December. I always have such good intentions of getting to books, and then somehow they fall to the side. This is a classic I know I need to read!
On Hold at the Library
The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin – My friend Meghan has raved about this book, and my hold just came in at the library, which means I will start it this week!
A Book to Read for Work
Al Capone Does My Shirts by Gennifer Choldenko – I’ve heard good things about this middle grade book so I decided to pick it up at the school library. I also love that it is set at Alcatraz!
The New Mrs. Collins by Quanie Miller – Quanie is so supportive of my blog, and her blog is so fun to read. I bought this one awhile ago, and I really want to read it soon!
At the Water’s Edge by Sara Gruen – I always enjoy reading Sara Gruen, and I’m definitely looking forward to the release of this book in a couple of weeks.
If You’re Reading This by Trent Reedy – You all know that I adore Trent Reedy. I haven’t had a chance to read this one yet, and it is high on my list as well!
What’s on your list to be read this spring?
