Anderson’s 2015 YA Literature Conference
October 12, 2015
Last year was the first year I attended the Anderson’s YA Literature Conference, and I’m sure you’ve either heard me talk about it or write about it here on this blog. It was such an amazing experience, and it reaffirmed by desire to write, read, and connect with authors. As soon as the info was released for this year’s event, I signed up immediately, and this past weekend was the big event!
It’s hard for me to believe it’s true, but I think this year’s event was even better! I have so much to share that I’ve decided to do a couple of posts on Wednesday and Thursday this week. One will focus on fun tidbits I learned over the course of the weekend, and the other will focus on authors who made an impact on me and why they did.
My October is turning out to be insanely crazy busy both personally and professionally, and I am trying to keep up with this blog despite all of that. I have a pile of reviews to write, and I no longer have a surplus of posts waiting at the ready. I am leaving town on Thursday for a long weekend to Napa (yay for bucket list dream trips) so if I end up being a little late on these posts, I apologize. I should be able to hit my targets though! If I have an exceptionally productive Tuesday and Wednesday, you may even see a post about everything that took place during the weekend.
If you haven’t yet attended a YA Literature Conference, then I encourage you to do so. It is so worth the money and time to do so – you will not regret it. It is fast becoming one of my favorite events of the year. I promise that I will be there next year, so let me know if you will be as well!
